Star print is my ‘thing’ at the moment, a coincidental but quite fitting tribute to the late, great David Bowie (hence the title of this post). I’m trying not to overkill it (which is what I usually do with everything) so I have been selecting my star print pieces as carefully as possible. One that I have acquired is a proper proper treat – this other-worldly Stella McCartney bag – but more on that later. I bought the Reformation dress I’m wearing here as a slightly splurgy treat to wear on New Year’s Eve. It’s fabulous enough for a special occasion, but the simple fit-n-flare silhouette and long sleeves make it appropriate for casual wear (or crawling home in the morning after your special occasion). It even managed to look ok in spite of the VERY STRONG winds that Joe and I battled through to get these shots, so imagine how cute it is when I don’t look like I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards. Sadly the star print version is no longer available, but this same dress comes in an equally great leopard print too.
