I’ve been a little quieter than I would like to be on this website recently, and that is because I have not spent all that much time in my home. At the beginning of the month I spent 4 nights in Budapest with some of my best pals, which I did not blog because it’s nice to enjoy some down-time every now and again (although there’s plenty on my Instagram, if you care to scroll back a little). After that, I spent a couple of consecutive weekends in the north, one in order to recover from Budapest and one to see Morrissey, do some karaoke and consequently need another week in recovery.
My latest trip, clearly, was to Paris. I’ve been to Paris before but each time only briefly, so I still feel like I have a lot more of the city to experience. The reason for my visit on this occasion was to witness and celebrate the European launch of the Honor 8 smartphone (which was a bloody lovely time and a very good more affordable (£370) smartphone, incidentally), along with Zoe, Sherri and some other familiar faces. Before the event, Zoe and I ran out (or rather walked because it was 36 degrees and I am not running anywhere for any reason in that sort of climate) to snap some pics by the most ‘hey look I’m in Paris’ landmark. I struggled to pick an outfit because it was so hideously hot, but settled on this basic but flattering black American Apparel bodysuit (which I also own in pink and love so much that I had to add another to my collection) and ‘reclaimed’ vintage Levi’s skirt from Urban Outfitters.
