♫ she wore, erm, green velvet ♫
I love a bit of velvet; it is both wintery and fancy making it my ultimate fav cold-weather party texture. I also like the colour green because I think it clashes with my hair in a good way. I wore this particular outfit, based around this bargain £22 dress from Zara, for a nice dinner out on a trip to Dublin last month with Millie (who did make more than one comment about me looking like a leprechaun). I like the rich colour and the symmetric hem, and also the fact that it can be dressed up with big heels and a nice hair do, or dressed down a bit with a biker jacket like I have here.

I love the look of velvet in the autumn/winter, but I don’t have any velvet item in my wardrobe. Dresses are great because as you said you can dress them up or down, yours is gorgeous! This shade of green looks perfect with your hair and skin tone 🙂
