Spring/Summer is all about gingham, says every fashion publication and social media account going. I am never one to avoid falling immediately foul of a (likely) passing trend, so I was excited to get my hands on this gingham midi skirt from Missguided. Gingham is adorable and ruffles are adorable therefore this skirt is adorable (and, sidenote, is structured enough to pull off as work-wear, imo). To take the edge off the adorable-ness of the skirt, I paired it with a mesh t-shirt (also perfect for the goth club) and oversized faux leather biker which has instantly become my new favourite jacket, but the skirt would work equally well with a sweet pastel top or a band t-shirt, AND it comes in a mini version too.
