Striped Flares

Happy Sunday! You might not want to hear the word ‘party’ right now, depending on how hectic last night was for you, but here we are. We’ve made it to the third and final look in my little party-wear series, and it is a look I’m particularly fond of. I have worn this to a house party and to karaoke, and like it a lot because it is loud but still casual enough that I don’t feel like a total prick if I go to the pub in it before I go out.

My insanely leg lengthening trousers are a steal at £15 – and come in various other striped patterns like these and these – and because they are so loud I prefer to pair them with a more nondescript top half, so this black long-sleeve or a plain white t-shirt is perfect. A final extremely special mention to this teddy coat, a glorified dad fleece, source of infinite warmth and cosiness, and the coat I have been and will be surgically attached to all winter.

Coat – Urban Outfitters*
Top – River Island* (similar)
Trousers – Nasty Gal*
Necklace – Monki
