If it wasn’t blindingly obvious, I really love trousers at the moment. From wide leg to cropped velvet to ridiculous striped flares, I have had to designate extra drawer space for my growing collection and find myself drawn to skirts or dresses far less. Trousers are just great – they’re comfortable, sometimes they have pockets, and you can put your feet up without worrying you’re going to give the person sitting opposite a fright. A good ‘statement’ trouser like the pair I’m wearing here does all the talking you need for an outfit, meaning that you can stick to basics like a simple roll neck for your top half and you never have to worry if they’ll look silly with tights in the winter or not. Long live trousers imo.
