Jeans are a favourite uniform for almost all of us regardless of age, gender or any other variable, but I often find myself resigning denim to casual days only. This denim jumpsuit by Diesel refuses to be confined to casj. The zip-up bodice, cinched waist and uber long legs of the jumpsuit (and I think it deserves to be called a jumpsuit rather than a dungaree) command the attention that the humble fabric truly deserves. It also makes me feel pretty great in the process. Tailoring or big shoes are an essential companion for short or average height girls; tall girls will be pleased to know that this jumpsuit will actually fit your long legs.
Although it looks pretty fantastic worn by itself, I opted to wear my jumpsuit over flouncy white blouse here for a ‘milkmaid, but make it fashion’ look that is proving to be the micro-trend of the season.
I got the Stella McCartney bag I’m wearing here in a charity shop for £55, yes I hate myself too.
