Stuck for Christmas list ideas? Sadly I constantly have a list as long as my arm of things I want to own, but not everyone does so I put together a very luxe looking winter outfit which is heading up my wishlist at the moment. All the clothing is Topshop, who are currently offering free worldwide delivery so now is the perfect time to order! I’m obsessed with the grey vinyl skirt, although at £100 I think I might have to wait for the sale or keep my eye out for a dupe. The cropped fluffy jumper is a much more reasonable £34 and is definitely a winter essential. This coat is just gorgeous too! I love that it has no collar (I’m really feeling either oversized collars or no collar at all on coats at the moment, no middle ground!), and I think that the print and the silhouette are both super chic. I also think that the colours would look great with this rose gold Michael Kors watch I picked from JRDunn. I’m normally not a Michael Kors fan when it comes to watches as I think they’re mostly far too chunky for my scrawny wrists, but I think that this one is fab and rose gold makes a nice change from the traditional options of silver or gold. What’s at the top of your Christmas wishlist?
I don’t mean to ~”toot my own horn”, but I really love this outfit! I was very excited to receive a Missguided package containing this beautiful pale blue fluffy cropped jumper and fab PVC midi skater skirt, which I chose both because I really like them individually, and because I’m currently obsessed with this particular combination of textures. Both pieces are £19.99 which I think is great value, especially compared to the very similar Topshop versions (you would be shelling out £55 for the skirt alone!). I also wore my latest purchase – this amazing ‘Coatigan’ from ASOS. I have had my eye on it for weeks and finally decided to hit purchase, typically two days before ASOS did their 48 hours of 20% student discount! As annoying as that was, I’m still very happy with it – it is super cosy, I love the colour and the oversized collar and fit, and it’s great for layering.
Classically British brand Hobbs makes some of the dreamiest winter coats, and I have selected my top three for those of you who are still looking to splash out on one amazing piece of outerwear:
- This soft mohair coat is the perfect mix of cute and chic. It incorporates one of my favourite winter shades (baby blue) without being too full on which, combined with the ultra stylish oversized fit and drop sleeve, makes it super wearable.
- The ‘Daisy’ coat made the top of my wishlist as soon as I saw it – I’m very much feeling ‘go big or go home’ collars and this shade of grey is just perfect to pair with any colour palette. The cocoon shape, longer length and single button also make it undeniably stylish.
- I couldn’t resist including yet another pink coat in my top three! Recently reduced it is the cheapest of my selections, but is no less fabulous. Again it features the oversized cocoon shape and large lapels which I’m loving at the moment, but the real selling point here is the attention grabbing orchid pink- amazing!
