The catwalk is boasting some really sleek hairstyles for A/W 2011, some less wearable than others! I’ve already unknowingly rocked a few of these, but I’ll definitely be trying some more! My favourites are the effortless Viktor & Rolf plait and Chanel bun, the slick Paul & Joe and Louis Vuitton ponytails, the Missoni style and the gorgeous glossy look by Aquascutum. Which are you going to try?

The infrared is the most classic AM90 colourway, and this exciting shoe is definitely my favourite of the Hyperfuse releases so far. It was first shown off at the Crooked Tongues BBQ in London, but unfortunately enough they won’t be going on sale! It is thought that a very limited 80 pairs were produced and handed out to select individuals, so keep your eye on ebay if you really want a pair. (Images via Highsnobiety)
You may have seen my post last month on my favourite winter metallics – now Elleuk.com are talking about their favourite futuristic pieces for Autumn/Winter, metallic trousers. Take a look at their ‘6 of the best below’. It’s a quite a difficult look to pull off, in my opinion, and requires the rest of your look to be more subtle. My favourites from this selection are the gorgeous Alexander Wang trousers, the more subtle of the 6.
Personally, I prefer metallic trousers to jeans and unfortunately the Wang pair are a little out of my price range so instead I’d love a pair of these Cigarette Metallic Trousers from Topshop, £45. Which are your favourites? Will you be rocking this trend?
A very simple and very cheap outfit! With the exception of my £80 Topshop shoes, my hand painted t-shirt was only 99p plus £1.99 postage from eBay, and my striped skirt was £3.99 from H&M. I bought this bowler hat from a market in London years ago, I think it was around £10.
As usual, hypes, comments and new fans are always appreciated on Lookbook, leave me your urls to check out!
Apologies for the bad quality photos, but here’s a few shots of my current nail art. After seeing this post whilst searching for new ideas, I’ve been dying to try Louboutin inspired nails! Here’s my attempt, inspired by Christian Louboutin’s gorgeous range of studded shoes. Admittedly this technique would be easier, and neater on a false nail, and I think that raised, stick on studs would look more professional, but this will do for me! What do you think?
A pug on a jumper, what’s not to love!
You may have seen my post the other day about this exhibition, which I was very excited to see photographs from, although I unfortunately couldn’t attend myself. Thanks to Style Bubble and DegreeArt.com, here is a closer look at some of the fantastic creations from the exhibition. I am definitely a Nailphiliac!
Dr. Martens have released a selection of gorgeous, high quality, premium leather satchels, and I am in love with them all! These bags are meant as an extension to their limited summer release (view here on Hypebeast), but I much prefer the new range. It includes classic Dr. Marten colours like red, green and black but also keeps it fresh with pinks and whites. My favourites are the red with black detail, and the pink with black detail, what are yours? The satchels will be available from Dr. Martens retailers worldwide (images via Hypebeast)
