These shoes are insane, as anyone can see! Size-wise they’re quite small-fitting, I would recommend going half a size down if possible. They aren’t too difficult to walk in if you’re used to heels, but the sole is very narrow so I personally am probably going to save these for evenings out which involve more sitting down, meals and parties for example, rather than nights out in clubs as I wouldn’t want to go over on my ankle!
Jeffrey Campbell is providing us with amazing collaboration after amazing collaboration at the moment. This time, JC has worked with online legends Black Milk to produce this mind blowing seven piece collection which is exclusive to Solestruck. Combining popular Black Milk prints such as ‘Bone Machine’, ‘Sick of Men’ and the iconic ‘Rainbow Galaxy’ with JC classics like the Lita, Night Lita, Back Off, Damsel and 99 Tie, the BM x JC collection is truly to die for. Solestruck have just put each model online for preorder, with the promise of each shoe eventually being available in all three prints. Check out images of each shoe below (via Solestruck).
Jeffrey Campbell and Wildfox Couture worked together to produce four styles of shoe this year, and finally the highly anticipated collection is available for pre-order on Solestruck. Each shoe is fabulous in it’s own right, however personally I’m very fond of the satin Ballet Platforms. Coming in pale pink or white, the Ballet Platform combines the Black Swan inspired ballet trend and the flatform shoe, whose popularity is still on the increase, perfectly, and they’re so pretty! If the Ballet Platform isn’t for you, the cowgirl-esque Dallas, the 70s inspired Lonestar, or the super fierce, lace-up Sergeant Pepper combat boot may be better suited. Ranging from $159.95 to $296.95, this collection is out of budget for a lot of us but with quality and of course style ensured, one pair might be worth splashing out on!
Like any other girl, I’ve been lusting over a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Litas since forever, and so after learning about knock off versions available on ebay for as little as £27 plus postage, I couldn’t resist! I bought this faux suede pair here (I chose the black faux suede) for a total of £33 including shipping, and I’m over the moon with them. As you can see from the photos, they’re basically the next best thing. The issue of replica products is somewhat controversial and often has an air of snobbery surrounding it, but the fact is that not everyone can afford to spend over £100 on one pair of (albeit gorgeous) shoes. They’re also a great alternative for vegetarians and vegans because as far as I’m aware all JC Litas are made from real leather or suede. What do you think?
