Last week I modelled for a styling student, Lauren Woods, who wanted to create something based on the concept of ‘six impossible things’ from Alice In Wonderland (hence the weird and wonderful props) and inspired by SS13 fashion. I really enjoyed the shoot, and the photos turned out great! None of the outfits are my own or my styling, however I love most of them – especially the beautiful silver sequined dress, the pretty tea party outfit and the fab House Of Holland inspired dungareers, gittery bralet and beanie combo – so I want to share them anyway. Check out some of the images below, and hype a couple on Lookbook here and here.
Weeks and weeks ago I placed an order with American Apparel for this gorgeous skirt and, due to it being a backorder, it finally arrived a few days ago! I’m completely in love with it, it was definitely worth the wait. It is the Short Charmeuse Gore Skirt in ‘dusty pink’ – normally £46 but at the time I had a 30% discount code, meaning that the skirt was a slightly more reasonable £32.30. I’ll be able to wear it with a white cropped t-shirt or baggy grey t-shirt and trainers for a dressed down look, use it to brighten up an otherwise black outfit like I have done here, or dress it up with an embellished top and heels for an evening out.
I’m also wearing House of Holland animal fishnet tights courtesy of the wonderful Tights Please, a polo neck crop top from ASOS (which I just realised makes my outfit almost exactly the same as the one on the model wearing the skirt on the AA website!) and black Underground creepers, also from ASOS.
You may also have noticed that I’m no longer hannahlousief.blogspot.co.uk, but finally have a custom domain name! Welcome to www.hannahlouisef.com ☺
I also have a few things for sale on eBay at the moment, all ening this weekend. Take a look here and don’t forget to check out hannahswardrobe.bigcartel.com and thepocketco.bigcartel.com too!
Today I wore double Primark, oops! I finished the outfit off with my usual Topshop leather biker jacket, some new lace trim socks (also Topshop) and my black creepers. I can’t get enough of mixing leopard print with bright block colours, this time I tried it out with a bright pink, silky textured t-shirt and I love the effect.
Today I wore my multi-glitter Topshop skater dress, but with a checked shirt over the top tied at the waist, black tights and black creepers, but I wanted to show off how pretty it is without lots of extras! It looks great with heels for the evening or layered up with flats for daytime. I’m also wearing a new Topshop lipstick which I received free with an order and I’m really impressed with it! The shade is ‘All About Me’ and it’s a matte finish bright pink colour, I really like it.
I’m making these pocket t-shirts, along with camo pocket t-shirts like this to sell for some extra money for Christmas presents! Please email me on hlfarrington@hotmail.co.uk, or contact me via Tumblr if you are interested. I can do either print on any colour and any size t-shirt, and will be selling them at £10 plus postage. Thanks!
Here I’ve styled mine with an otherwise all black look to make the pocket stand out, if only I had some pink Litas to match! Pocket t-shirts look great over a pair of leggings or skinny jeans too. Check out this close-up of the print below.
