The wrap skort has received a little update in my wardrobe recently, and surprise surprise it’s tartan! I wore my black and white skorts to death over the summer so they haven’t made it out of my wardrobe in a while, but I couldn’t resist this checked version from Hidden Fashion (another super bargain at £10.49).
I feel I’m getting a little predictable with my fluffy jumpers, but I have been wearing these short sleeved Primark numbers in the place of t-shirts all winter now and definitely won’t be stopping! I threw on my go-to coat at the moment, this amazing grey ASOS slouch coat, and my current favourite Topshop Argo boots. Finally I’m wearing some adorable sun and moon earrings from Pretty In Black* (pictured below), I’ve been wearing these a lot recently and they’re only £4! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
A simple black and white outfit from a sunny day! I bought myself some new trainers for the first time in ages the other day – black and white Nike Roshe Runs. I already own the Roshe Runs in Digi Camo, but I wanted this super plain pair as they’ll go with any outfit. They’re also the comfiest trainers in the entire world! I wore them with some more mesh paneling in this top from Choies (out of stock at the moment, but there’s a similar version here), and although I’m a little late to the party with the wrap skorts (other than the ones I owned as a small child!), I’m loving them at the moment. The sizing on the original Zara version wasn’t right for me, but these from Romwe are perfect – I also have a white version from SheInside and recently ordered them in blue for a bargain £5.99 from eBay!
I’ve decided to try to get nominated for my first award, so if you enjoy reading my blog please nominate me for ‘best established fashion blog’ in the Cosmo Blog Awards! Follow this link, it takes two seconds. Thank you 🙂

Today’s outfit consisted of my new SheInside pieces! This ‘skort’ is identical to the blogger favourite from Zara but is a bargain at £15, today I paired it with this fab long sleeve crochet/lace style top. The top is very sheer so I wore a nude vest top underneath, but I love the contrast of the opaque pattern against the sheer and my skin underneath.
I’m also wearing my favourite new flat shoes from Choies, ‘inspired’ by the adorable Marc By Marc Jacobs ‘Shorty’ shoes. They have a velvet upper and are super comfortable, and when I was in the Post Office today a little girl told me that she liked them, so now I’m even more obsessed!
I will be posting less over the next couple of weeks as it’s exam period for me (eek!), but you can follow me on Instagram (@hannahlouisef) for daily updates 🙂
