Last week I modelled for a styling student, Lauren Woods, who wanted to create something based on the concept of ‘six impossible things’ from Alice In Wonderland (hence the weird and wonderful props) and inspired by SS13 fashion. I really enjoyed the shoot, and the photos turned out great! None of the outfits are my own or my styling, however I love most of them – especially the beautiful silver sequined dress, the pretty tea party outfit and the fab House Of Holland inspired dungareers, gittery bralet and beanie combo – so I want to share them anyway. Check out some of the images below, and hype a couple on Lookbook here and here.
This week I modelled some clothes for Manchester based brand Oh Hell clothing – check them out on Tumblr and Facebook, and click here to visit their store!
I was surprised this week with an awesome package from the lovely Naked Bones, including a few pieces from their latest collection, entitled ‘Metal Candy‘. The collection features a selection of garments including sweaters, crop tops and leggings, in sugary sweet shades such as candyfloss pink, mint green and lemon yellow, accented with sparkling ‘crystal’ pockets in a variety of colours. With pieces ranging from £12.99 to £19.99, the collection is affordable for everyone and certainly not one to miss out on!
My look (above) features the Streaked Sweater (£16.99) in ‘candyfloss pink’ with a silver crystal pocket. Here I paired it with galaxy leggings from Miss Selfridge and spiked pink glitter slippers from Romwe.
Here I’m wearing a gorgeous pair of ‘Galaxy Star’ tie dye leggings by Naked Bones, a London based boutique brand who create beautiful hand-made, affordable clothing. They are easy to wear casually in the day-time with a plain t-shirt and ballet flats or trainers, but here I chose to put together an outfit which you could also wear on an evening out.
Be sure to check out the rest of the ‘Tie Dye Delights‘ collection along with the rest of Naked Bones’ ‘Customised‘ and ‘Lost & Found‘ apparel at nakedbonesfashion.co.uk.
A simple outfit which I wore this evening. I’d been eyeing these leggings up for a while, and even thinking of DIYing myself a pair, so when I saw some in my size in the Topshop sale I snapped them up. Someone described this look as ‘school girl meets grunge’ which I think is pretty accurate!
I received this gorrrrgeous t-shirt from Naked Bones today, I love it! If you’re local to London, be sure to check out their stall on Brick Lane every Sunday. If not, like the Naked Bones Facebook page to keep updated on where else they will be selling! There is also a Naked Bones Twitter, if you prefer.
I finally got the Topshop pencil skirt I’ve been lusting over too, it’s a great wardrobe staple because it goes with practically anything, and I love the shape.
Don’t forget to leave me some feedback on Lookbook, and leave me your Lookbook urls too!
