Camo Cardi & Primark Mini Haul

Cardigan – Primark | Shirt – Urban Outfitters | Jeans – ASOS | Boots – Agyness Deyn x Dr Martens | Bag – Primark

Today’s outfit is (I like to think) a good way of working the military trend without the harsh silhouettes which are sometimes hard to pull off, especially for the day time. I was pretty excited to see this cardigan in Primark for £14 after lusting over the almost identical Topshop version which is £34 more expensive! I’m also wearing my amaaazing new Agyness Deyn x Dr Martens 1490 boots. Check out more images and info about my Primark ‘mini haul’ below.

I also picked up the nude version of a black studded clutch I already have from Primark, very similar to the Topshop Studded Suede Clutch but £6 instead of £38!

…and this gorgeous oversized bag which is very similar to the extremely popular Zara version, but only £12! It’s perfect for uni, college or school.

I also bought the boucle style peplum top which I mentioned in last week’s Primark AW12 Picks post, only £8!
And finally my amazing new boots cannot go without a mention: the Agyness Deyn x Dr Martens 1490 boot. I got them for a measly £49 thanks to the amazing and generous Stephanie and her employee discount!

Latest Lookbook: Layers

Latest Lookbook: Layers

We had a much warmer day today in North West England, but it’s still not summer so layering is key! I wore a white button-up shirt and faux leather pleated skirt (Primark) underneath an oversized black chunky knit jumper (Primark) and my Urban Renewal camo jacket (Urban Outfitters), finished off with black tights, an animal print scarf and black creepers.

I’ve also dyed my hair a brighter copper/ginger colour and finally got rid of the remnants of my dip-dye (although you can still see some evidence of it if you look closely!). What do you think?

Latest Lookbook: Camo jacket

Despite a belated birthday trip to London with my boyfriend falling through because I was ill (boo), he bought me this gorgeous camo jacket from Urban Outfitters. Despite the pretty ridiculous price tag, it’s so much nicer than any charity, vintage or even military shop alternative I’ve found. My leggings are also a recent purchase, from romwe.com, they’re great! I love the idea, however after one wear two of the studs have already come off 🙁 I’ve managed to fix them, but I’m not sure how long they’ll last. My wintery boots are also new, they look just like the men’s Pointer boots which I love, and for only £36 from Topshop they’re a great buy!

Penfield x Sperry Top-Sider Women’s Footwear
My prayers have been answered in the form of this Penfield x Sperry Top-Sider collaboration – finally a women’s shoe just as nice as the men’s version, that isn’t by Vans and isn’t overloaded with pink! Not that I don’t love both the aforementioned of course, but a change is always nice.
They will be available in the following influential boutiques worldwide: Saint Alfred (Chicago), Ron Herman (various Southern California locations), Steven Alan (New York), Tenue de Nîmes (Amsterdam), Oi Polloi (Manchester), Starcow (Paris), Fott (Moscow) and Lane Crawford (Hong Kong). I couldn’t be more stoked to see that the collection, featuring 4 men’s styles as well as 2 women’s, will be stocked at the wonderful Oi Polloi in my home town of Manchester. They’re due for release this month, so you can guarantee I’ll be straight down there to pick up a pair when they’re available.
