My favourite thing about maxis is that they are so versatile, and can dress up an otherwise plain outfit. They’re also great for the cold British A/W because you can wear as many pairs of tights and leggings as you like underneath, without looking ridiculous! Definitely a winter wardrobe staple. Here I’ve paired black with a bunch of leopard print accessories – you can never have too many right?
It has not stopped raining in North England over the past few days! I wore this, with ankle boots instead of heels, whilst trekking around Leeds on Saturday. The heatwave in England is well and truly over, so the jumpers are coming back out. I love winter wardrobes and cute umbrellas, but I do not love rain! What’s your favourite weather-specific styles are your favourite?
Although my local Size? store in Manchester is great for men’s trainers, unfortunately it’s very small and there’s no room for the awesome range of clothing which is available online and in other stores across the country. Yesterday I visited Leeds with my boyfriend, and picked up some great items from the bigger and better Leeds Size? store.
Recently I decided that I needed some new skirts, so I went a little crazy and bought 5! This is one of them, and at only £6 (from a discount store called Steals in Blackburn) I think I can be let off. The others I bought were: this Topshop pencil skirt (which I bought with a gift card so the £30 price tag doesn’t count!); a similar pencil skirt from BooHoo.com which due to it being very ill fitting I’ll probably send back (£15); another maxi skirt, this time black, from BooHoo (£10), and a rust coloured bodycon mini for £5 from Steals.
I received this gorrrrgeous t-shirt from Naked Bones today, I love it! If you’re local to London, be sure to check out their stall on Brick Lane every Sunday. If not, like the Naked Bones Facebook page to keep updated on where else they will be selling! There is also a Naked Bones Twitter, if you prefer.
I finally got the Topshop pencil skirt I’ve been lusting over too, it’s a great wardrobe staple because it goes with practically anything, and I love the shape.
Don’t forget to leave me some feedback on Lookbook, and leave me your Lookbook urls too!
Another gloriously hot day in the UK! I am planning on going to a BBQ this weekend, providing the weather holds up, so this is what I’ll wear. Instead of my sailor wedges, I’ll finish the outfit with my red Vans Authentics, because I think they will tie it together nicely, and look really cute. I couldn’t include them in the photo because they’re at my boyfriend’s! What do you think? As always, hypes, comments and new fans are hugely appreciated. Leave me all your Lookbook links too!
Just as I got excited about being able to wear more of my winter wardrobe, we have a heatwave! It’s been lovely weather today, of course I’m not complaining. Here’s what I wore.
Posted a new look today, featuring some of my new clothes. This is a great outfit, I think, for when I need to dress up a little on a winter’s night. It includes some of my favourite wintery textures: suede; velvet; faux fur and obviously glitter! What do you think?
Went on a very brief shopping trip today, and here’s what I bought! Everything except the leopard shirt, which was a birthday gift from my boyfriend, was an impulse buy.
Although I unfortunately wasn’t at the Supreme store launch on Thursday night, I did go and watch pop punk bands The Wonder Years and Such Gold play in Manchester. I often get asked what I wear to shows, so I decided to take a photo this time. I wore one of my friends’ band’s (Bays) T-shirts, Topshop leggings, Nike Air Max 90s, an American Apparel hoodie, and I actually ditched my Topshop leather biker jacket before I went because it was a warm evening and of course a sweaty venue. I posted it on Lookbook too, so go check it out and leave me some comments.
