My latest eBay bargain purchase is this fab pair of flats which at a glance are indistinguishable from the gorgeous Valentino Rockstud, worn by the likes of Alexa Chung and priced at a hefty £550. The eBay version is a much more reasonable £26.58, and although they obviously don’t quite compare to the Rockstuds they’re a great alternative.
I went for the ‘beige’ option, the most similar to the pair worn by Alexa in the photo above, but they are also available in black and baby blue from the eBay seller I bought from. As you can see in photo 1 below, one stud is slightly crooked, but other than that there are no faults (and I imagine this may just be a one off flaw!). The buckles on the cage straps are unfortunately not real (see photo 5 below), and so you can’t tighten them as much as you might need if you have scrawny ankles like me, but the elastic in the fastening means that they they’ll easily stretch to fit any ankle!
Size-wise I’d say these fit true to size, however if you are a half size I would recommend sizing up rather than down as they fit quite narrowly. My shoes took just over 2 weeks to arrive, but they’re the closest replica I’ve seen and so I’d say they’re worth it 🙂 here is the link – happy bargain shopping!
