So I have finally got around to posting about this amazing blue velvet dress, which I got from Fashion Union a while ago and have already worn numerous times because it’s so fab! The limited daylight hours are making every blogger’s life rather difficult at the moment, but I finally managed to get it photographed. Luckily for you it’s now on sale for a bargain £20 too. The intense blue colour is definitely the major selling point for me, but the really subtle ‘fit & flare’ silhouette is also super flattering and I love a nice long-sleeved dress for the colder months. Here I wore it with a new jacket from F&F at Tesco, which I’m also in love with. The aviator style jacket is a great alternative to the basic leather biker, and this one is SO cosy and warm. It’s an ideal winter piece which you can throw on over pretty much any outfit, although I love the combination of textures here!
