How to make drying your hair marginally less of a chore…
I have needed a new hairdryer for a VERY long time now, but as my old one (passed down from my mother to me, in use on a bi-weekly basis for around 8 years, yikes) hadn’t actually blown up I was in some state of denial and reluctant to give up on it. Enter: ghd Aura.
As someone who loathes and abhors the process of washing and drying my hair (and can’t do leave-it-to-dry-naturally because frizz), I was very excited by the prospect of trying something to make that task a little easier. To your average hair dryer user, there’s nothing super revolutionary about the Aura – it has the standard 3 settings for temperature and power, a cold shot button, but also a power supply on the cable instead of in the body of the dryer (making it that bit lighter). On using it, however, it becomes very apparent that it is good. It has sped up my drying time quite considerably, but most impressively I have found it much easier to do a ~sort of~ blow dry on myself rather than my usual (extremely) rough dry. I’m really quite unskilled when it comes to hair, however with a round brush (mine’s a very cheap one from Primark, but I am thinking about purchasing something like this) and the Aura I’ve found it much easier to achieve an overall smoother look. This is great because it means that I don’t have to then apply even more heat to my hair using straighteners or curling tongues every time I dry it.
At £145 the Aura is quite pricey, but if you’re in the market for a new hair dryer I’d absolutely recommend the investment – it has a 2 year guarantee (although in my experience of hair dryers, will likely last much longer) and has made the exceedingly laborious task of washing and drying my hair just that bit easier.
TLDR? Yes, a good hair dryer really does make a difference!

Your hair looks lovely in that bottom shot! I never really fuss to much over hair dryers – my current one is coming up to two years old and is just a Lee Stafford one. I don't know if I'd make the investment in a GHD dryer because mine just does the job! 🙂

Your hair looks amazing! Sounds like such a good hair dryer, if I blow dried my hair more often I'd probably think about investing!

I desperately need a new hairdryer. Mine reached it's 11th birthday this year and is still going strong, although now frequently smells of burning and makes a funny sound when I first turned it on. I figured it might actually be time to purchase a new one when I get paid this month – and considering how long I can make a hairdryer last, I don't think the price is too unreasonable! xo

I never blow dry my hair but I do get a lot of frizz so I should really start making time to do this. You hair does look lovely done using the hair dryer so that could be something that I invest in.

Yeah I think so. A good hair dryer really makes a difference. Earlier I had unbranded hair dryer but that was really slow, and it took so much time to dry my hairs. Now I have bought branded Sedu hair dryer and it works really fine.
Hair dryers are another essential weapon for a stronger & smoother hair. Wet hairs can lead you into many hair related problems. So, stop your hair fall using high the best quality hair dryers available in the market before it is too late.
