It’s never ok to wear a onesie out in public (unless, in very desperate circumstances, under your coat to visit the supermarket to pick up some hash browns on a hungover Sunday morning), but make it velvet and call it a jumpsuit and you’re good to go. This velvet jumpsuit by The WhitePepper is like a very luxe onesie, but worn belted and with a pair of boots it’s a perfect ~smart-casual~ piece. Here I mixed black with a chocolate brown colour, a combination which I am a big fan of in spite of the fact that it is maybe a little unorthodox. This outfit also features my newest purchase: these chocolate brown faux suede boots from ASOS, which I bought as an alternative to my usual black.

These are gorgeous photos! Love the look of this outfit, and how it's a way to wear a chicer version of a onesie outside. This lipstick shade is lovely too 🙂 x

About a year ago, an Australian friend boasted about a plant that she grows in her garden. She talked about the magnificent properties of this plant. I was so intrigued, the next day, my husband and I found it at our local Nursery plant store. This 6 inch plant went on to grow to nearly seven feet tall. The next year we ordered seeds and grew several pots. This was new to us, but not to many others around the world.
