Barbour International is definitely a household name, but one which I hadn’t associated with much else than quilted jackets and country attire – a recent look on the website has put me right back onto the classic English label in perfect time for LFW. Barbour International is the biker inspired sister brand of Barbour with a rich motorcycle heritage, something I think I have made very clear here by the fact that I look like I’ve had a premature midlife crisis and bought myself a huge Harley Davidson (in a good way, I think!). The centrepiece of the outfit, the waxed jacket, is super practical but also super stylish and (as it’s fashion week) very LFW, and is exemplary of Barbour International’s city-appropriate clothes as opposed to Barbour’s country attire. My jeans and jumper here are also Barbour – I have inadvertently become a black skinny jean connoisseur and own a really irrational number of very similar pairs, but the perfect fit and black black colour of this pair has made them a contender for my go-to pair already. Thoughts?
