I have wanted a Comme Des Garçons Play striped longsleeve shirt since forever, but my reluctance to ever invest in anything of any real quality has prevented me from actually getting one. Until now! I am twenty four years old, as of last week, and in my old age (lol) I think it is about time I start spending a little more money on good wardrobe staples. They come in nice exciting boxes, wrapped in lovely tissue paper, and owning this particular shirt means that I no longer feel such a compulsion to own forty more striped longsleeves. Win-win. I got the shirt in a women’s size small, which actually fits quite snuggly and is a nice grown up change from the oversized boyish longsleeves that make up the rest of my collection. I got this one from Farfetch, who include all customs charges when you buy so there are no nasty surprises on your doorstep. Nice.
That little heart logo is so goddamn cute I put it on my feet too, in the form of my second pair of CDG Play x Converse trainers – my first pair were a birthday present 4 or 5 years ago and I still wear them all the time, a good investment! These light and bright colours are maybe my very last attempt at clinging on to summer, while very much on the verge of developing a horrible horrible cold. If I dress warm, I will feel warm, right? It is relatively rare for me to wear an outfit with no black at all, but on this occasion I thought that the white jeans (and white nails) tied everything together well.
