A pretty pink bardot dress and trainers: has enough time passed since Lily Allen’s 2006 for this look to be ok again? Either way, here we are. I like that the lightweight cotton fabric of the dress makes it sort of casual, in spite of the almost prom dress like silhouette. It’s also my fave blush pink shade and, wait for it, HAS POCKETS!! I paired it with my PLAY CDG trainers and slightly aggressive ‘go away’ Lazy Oaf tote.
Joel and I took these photos at the Serpentine Pavilion, which is currently home to this impressive installation by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels. The way that the ‘unzipped wall’ looks changes completely depending on the perspective of the viewer; from a distance it is massive and overbearing, from an angle it is solid and opaque, but when looking at it straight on you can see right through it. MAKES U THINK, HUH?

I love how you styled the dress! So different from the current bardot styles we tend to see. Your tote bag is amazing, and the display at the Serpentine Pavilion, it makes such an amazing background for photos as well haha 😉
