Cardigan – American Apparel* | Jeans – Levi’s* | Shoes – Clarks Originals* | Sunglasses – eBay (similar)
Another casual outfit for you! A couple of weeks ago Levi’s were kind enough to invite me to their Manchester store to check out their new Revel collection. Who knew you could fit so much technology into a pair of jeans?! Revel uses liquid shape technology along with Levi’s’ Curve ID system to make sure that your jeans fit perfectly and flatter your shape, for example the fabric at the top of the thighs in these jeans has extra hold in it to lift and shape, and everything from the fade of the fabric to the pocket placement is designed to flatter. I’m wearing the Revel demi-curve skinny jeans in grey with my boyfriend’s The Cure t-shirt (which I have definitely now, erm, re-appropriated), Clarks Originals Desert Boots, super cool American Apparel shawl cardigan in black, and some circle sunglasses.
I love love love this Rare London paisley dress! I always envy people who can pull off that super effortless ‘boho’ look, but I think that this dress is pretty much made for that style. Maybe one day I’ll pair it with a crochet cardi or a shaggy vest and some feathered earrings (for a quick trip to Coachella), but for now I kept it simpler with my leather biker, a few rings and black suede Clarks Originals Desert Boots. I finally got my hands on this pair of black Desert Boots last week after wanting them for years but never getting around to it; I own the brown Desert Hugs but these are much more versatile and are such a classic shoe, I can’t recommend them enough! The dress has a really cute cut-out detail on the front and ties together, but the temperature at the moment warranted a black vest underneath too. I can’t wait to wear it in summer!
T-shirt – Not For Ponies* | Shorts – Choies* | Cardigan – American Apparel | Shoes – Clarks Originals
Happy new year readers! My first post of 2014 is actually an outfit I wore in 2013, which feels like a bit of a cop out but seeing as I have spent the first two days of the year in my (albeit extremely stylish) pyjamas doing coursework, I don’t have many more options… . This is a comfy and casual outfit, based mainly around this super cute t-shirt from Not For Ponies. I love that different textures are used to make up the pug’s face rather than a simple print onto the t-shirt, and the 3D bow tie is a great finishing touch. Not For Ponies has a whole adorable range of pug themed clothing and accessories (as well as a variety of other designs), take a look on their website here. I wore it with my Choies faux leather shorts which you might have seen here, American Apparel shawl cardi and grey Clarks Originals Wallabees.
Dungaree dress – SheInside* | T-shirt – American Apparel | Bag – Primark | Boots – Clarks Originals via eBay | Ring- Lovebird Jewellery*
Today’s summery weather called for an outing for my SheInside dungaree dress. A bit of a ‘bandwagon’ piece at the moment, but I’m still very much a fan! They’re a bit of a DIY job – when mine arrived I had to add some fastenings myself (all included of course, you simply have to attach them) however the straps are completely adjustable which is great. I love the combination of denim and horizontal stripes, I think that an outfit like this would be perfect for a festival. I also wore my new Primark satchel (a bargain at £9), Clarks Originals Wallabee boots (a great eBay find, as these aren’t too common in ladies sizes), old Topshop mac and super cute ring by Lovebird Jewellery, a great jewellery store full of pretty and very affordable bracelets and pendants!
