When Missguided (one of my absolute favourite Manchester based brands) asked me to select my perfect Manchester outfit from their vast array of items, I couldn’t have been more excited! The outfit I ended up with is definitely a recent favourite of mine too, and every single bit is from Missguided. I chose it as my perfect Manchester outfit as I feel like the black and grey represent our usually grey weather well, but also the combination of tailored trousers, a roll neck knit and heeled boots have that ‘city chic’ vibe. I have worn each of these pieces, especially the jacket, roll neck jumper, and biker boots, in other outfits since they arrived too, as they’re all such great basics and ideal for layering. I’m especially pleased with the jumper, which I can tuck my hair into for style points and to disguise a bad hair day, and how fab is this Stella McCartney dupe bag?
Because my outfit wasn’t at all colourful, I opted for a pop of blue eyeshadow using Illamasqua Powder Eye Shadow in ‘Imagine’. I always find myself loving colour pop eyes on other people but am rarely brave enough to try it myself, usually preferring a bolder lip and a neutral eye. What do you think?
