Workwear has played a fairly consistent part in my sartorial journey, ever since first dipping into the world of streetwear and brands like Carhartt in my teens. This year has seen workwear and utility styles receive a slightly more feminine touch – softer shapes and slimmer silhouettes from brands like Whistles as well as more traditional workwear favourites.
This particular jacket looks great paired with a daintier floral print, but for casual weekend look I wore it over a vintage jumpsuit and with my Dr Martens Sandals and new Ray-Ban specs which I am vowing to wear more often because I think I like looking a bit like a teacher and also being able to see properly. I don’t know the cat pictured here, but she was very nice.
