Wildfox as a brand is the epitome of relaxed, summer’s day cool for me. I had the most overwhelming urge to live by a beach or something when I put on this adorable ‘heart bra’ sweater! For a day of hanging about the sun with some friends and a dog, I threw it on over a plain playsuit from Missguided (which you’ve seen before in this post), and these fab lace-up sandals from Desire which I’ve been obsessed with ever since I saw them on Emily‘s Instagram. Now, beach holiday, anyone?
If you’re an ASOS Fashion Finder user, you might have seen me there this morning alongside the lovely Helen from thelovecatsinc styling up a tropical printed piece from ASOS in five different ways. ASOS has a great range of tropical pieces at the moment; I went for this really fun button-down midi dress (which is currently on sale) because I love the fairly unique colouring and the fact that it has a black base too. Styling a printed dress in five ways seemed challenging at first but once I had a think about it I realised that it really isn’t that difficult, and I’m going to make more effort to do this with all my clothes. I hope you like the five looks, you can read a little bit about each on the Fashion Finder feature.
Which is your fave look? And would you like to see more posts like this?

Following quite nicely from my last post about my spa day and afternoon tea, here’s the outfit I wore. I chose something very relaxed and loose fitting, which also was cool enough for the super hot weather. I actually really love how this outfit turned out! My shirt is from Motel – a bit of an impulse sale purchase but at only £12 I couldn’t resist. Don’t forget you can get 20% off full price Motel with my discount code ‘hannahlouisef’! I paired it with an old favourite in these Topshop Boutique silk joggers from a couple of years ago, and a new favourite in these ASOS flats. I also love the most recent addition to my bag collection, this slouchy-ish white drawstring bag from Missguided, and a new pair of sunglasses from Matalan!
(^ haha)

First of all, I would like to apologize that my blog is entirely outfit posts at the moment! I prefer to keep it more varied, but I just have SO many outfits to show you. I’m trying to bash them all out at once and post on a daily basis Sunday-Thursday. Do let me know if my outfit posts are your favourite thing to see on my blog, or if you prefer a mixture of things?
I wore this outfit about a week ago, we had a bit of a chilly day so I jumped at the opportunity to finally wear this gorgeous coat from Daisy Street. The structure and of course the colour are just perfect! I wore it over a Front Row Shop scuba skirt, Topshop striped crop and added a yellow necklace from HugoSophia for a pop of contrasting colour.

Ok, so I’m wearing another white dress with another fringed jacket, oops! I think this look is a little different though, because the Yumi dress I’m wearing (now on sale for £35) is super versatile. I think it would be just as good for a prom or evening dinner as it is for a casual day out. Here I dressed it down with this Topshop suede panel fringed jacket, which was my first purchase on Depop. If you don’t have the app already I’d highly recommend it! I’m selling lots of things there too @hannahlouisef / depop.com/hannahlouisef.

How great is this Lavish Alice top? I really love the cut, especially the split back! I’m having a break from all the boho festival style with this minimalist outfit, I like the clean lines and pale colours paired with black. I also have to mention these sandals again (I also wore them here): they’re my current favourite and were a total bargain at £24.99 from New Look, but now they’re in the sale at an even more reasonable £18.74! They’re real leather and are super comfortable, I can’t recommend them enough.
PS: if you’re a tall gal, this duster coat is currently half price on ASOS here. Grab a bargain!

A little location switch up for these photos – they were taken in the East London Airbnb apartment I stayed in with my friend Hannah after last week’s Company Magazine Style Blogger Awards! I love a good wooden floor and some shabby-chic decor, so I thought why not?
For a day filled with pancakes, press days and parties, and walking around London, I wore my new French Connection dress which I absolutely love! It’s currently on sale for £60 (down from £120) so it’s the perfect time to snap it up. It’s great quality and falls really nicely, has a drop hem and ruffles which are more oversized than other similar dresses which I think is cool, and as with so many of my favourite pieces I think it can be dressed up just as easily as it can be dressed down. I wore it with my ASOS duster coat, Monki cross body bag and of course Nike Roshe Runs (which were so necessary for the amount of walking I did after a night standing around in heels at the Company Awards!) Check out some more outfit photos and a few pics from my day in London below.
The most adorable set up at Primark AW14 press day – I can’t wait to show you some of the amazing clothes, shoes and accessories.

You only need to spend a moment on Instagram or Lookbook to realise that super boho printed trousers are the flavour of the moment, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it! I love the fact that to my generation they scream Coachella, but my parents’ generation would think I’d waltzed straight out of Woodstock. After seeing some amazig pairs whilst browsing the web and whilst out shopping, I’ve done a little bit of digging and have come up with my top 10 pairs…
Pair 1 | Pair 2 | Pair 3 | Pair 4 | Pair 5 | Pair 6 | Pair 7 | Pair 8 | (pairs 9 & 10 available in store only)
I have gone straight to the top for pair 1, which are from Novella Royale. They’re very pricey, at around £90 per pair plus shipping and probably customs charges as they are based in the US, however if you are really really into fabulous boho bell bottoms they are just perfect! I love this red pair, but they have many others in amazing prints and the perfect figure hugging silhouette through the thighs then kick out at the knee. Dreamy!
Pair 2 is also from a US based online store, Pylo. I love the interesting print and its brown and turqouise hues, and better still this pair is only £18.86! Pylo stock loads of other amazing bell bottoms too.
Pair 3 is from Urban Outfitters, and is another of the pricier pairs of my top 10 at £80. The ditsy floral print is super cute, and because they’re a dark navy and white I think they’re more wearable than the bolder prints of the Novella Royale trousers.
The most expensive pair I chose is pair 4, by Free People. They’re £128 but they are really stunning – a definite show stopper ideal for any festival or sunny day (or any day really).
Pair 5 is from ASOS, and is a little more versatile than my other choices. Although they’re a really bold print, I feel that they could just as easily be paired with a crisp white button-up as they could with a crochet vest. At £28, they’re a bargain too!
Pairs 6, 7 and 8 are from Forever 21. I spotted them when I popped into the Trafford Centre store last week, and unfortunately didn’t purchase, which I’m regretting somewhat now! My TC trip was solely to visit the Five Guys which opened recently, so I had other things (burgers and fries) on my mind. If I had to choose just one pair, I think I’d probably go for pair 6, the print reminds me of the friendship bracelets I used to make as a kid – love! All are very reasonably priced at £16-£20.
Finally, I went to Primark for pairs 9 & 10. When I popped in the other day I actually bought pair 10 (£12) after much deliberation, but I can certainly see myself going back for more. Like the ASOS pair, the zig-zag print of pair 10 makes them a little more versatile than some of the more tribal-style prints but they’re still fab to wear with crochet and lace for a boho vibe.

As you might have seen on my Instagram, this time last week I was getting ready to see One Direction VIP at the Ethiad with BooHoo! Although 1D isn’t a bad I listen to in my own spare time, it was a fab evening, and I felt very important up in one of the boxes. I had a full BooHoo outfit picked out for the occasion, but unfortunately it didn’t arrive in time, so this is what I wore instead. I’ve basically lived in this duster coat since it arrived from ASOS, it’s so simple and clean looking and I think looks a lot more expensive than it is. I want one in every colour! Here I wore it over a plain black v-neck peplum top from 6ks and amazing pale blue wide leg culottes which I’m very excited to have in my wardrobe for summer as they’re a great colour, but they’re also extremely cool and comfortable! I finished the outfit off with some new sandals from New Look. Whilst browsing the New Look site in search of some sandals I found myself completely spoiled for choice, they honestly have so many amazing pairs! I may or may not have ended up with three separate pairs of black slider style sandals, but hey ho. This pair was the most expensive of the three at (a still fairly reasonable) £29.99, but I’m so pleased with them! This was my first time wearing them and so I packed plasters expecting them to rip my feet to shreds, but they were so comfortable all night and I didn’t even need one plaster – v impressed!
What do you think? Would you wear this outfit to a big concert like 1D?

Hello! Sorry things have been a bit slow on the outfit post front at the moment; I’ve just had an amazing weekend in Belgium checking out Antwerp and Brussels and seeing Title Fight play, and have exams coming up over the next couple of weeks so it’s time to get my head down. Anyway – I recently bought this lightweight trench coat from H&M’s Conscious collection and I’m obsessed with it! It’s the most neutral shade of cream/beige so it goes with everything, and instantly makes any outfit look a bit more ‘grown up’. I will be wearing it non-stop this summer! Here I wore it with my go-to Topshop striped crop top and a white midi skirt from Primark, as well as pointed ASOS flats and new sunglasses from Ace & Tate. I’m heading to Paris for a few days with my family later this summer, and this is definitely the kind of outfit I plan on wearing. What do you think? Don’t forget you can check out this look and all my other Primark looks on Primania, and give me some ‘Primarks’ too!
PS: if you haven’t already seen, I’m SO excited to have been shortlisted for Company Magazine Best Personal Style Blog 2014 – thanks so much to all those who nominated me! If you’d like to vote for me to win the award (and I’d love it if you did!) you can do so here – just select Hannah Louise F on the first page, click through the remaining categories (and of course choose your favourites if you recognise some names), and submit with your email address at the end. It takes 30 seconds 🙂 thank you!
