We are half way through Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year ghd is celebrating 10 years of partnership with Breakthrough Breast Cancer. For every pink styler that is sold, a £10 donation goes straight to Breakthrough Breast Cancer, who dedicate this money to finding the causes of breast cancer, improving treatment and much more.
You might remember my post featuring the fabulous ghd Candy Collection earlier this year, and as a loyal ghd user ever since my mum bought her first pair around ten years ago, I don’t think I need to further stress how fantastic I think ghds are!
Coinciding with the launch of this year’s Limited Edition Pink Diamond styler, ghd have released an impressive infographic demonstrating just how much of a huge difference they, and of course you as customers, have made to Breakthrough Breast Cancer and breast cancer awareness generally over the past decade. Take a look at the infographic here, and go to the ghd website to get your hands on this year’s gorgeous pink styler and donate to a very worthwhile cause.
I recently received the most amazing gift package! ghd was already my favourite brand for straighteners, my first hair styler (which I shared with my mum) was ghd and I’ve been unable to find any brand whose flat iron quite matches up. Fortunately ghds come with a 2 year guarantee and need replacing less often than that, so despite being expensive in comparison to other brands, price per use they probably work out much better value. It isn’t just me who loves ghd: the company was voted as a Coolbrand for 2012 by the Superbrands’ CoolBrands Initiative and won best life-changing product in the Fabulous 2012 Beauty Awards, as well as many more. ghd’s latest collection, the ‘Candy Collection’, is inspired by retro sweetshop favourites, and consists of the acclaimed IV professional styler in three super sweet colours: yellow, mint and violet. ghd was kind enough to gift me the mint styler!
