Although as a whole this collection doesn’t completely blow me away, I’m pretty impressed with some of the pieces Primark have come up with for Summer! Amongst the now over-hyped and over-done aztec leggings and occasional uninspiring print, Primark’s Summer offering includes some real gems.
They have hit the neon-nail on the head with the pink and yellow bralets (£5 each) which will look amazing and bang on trend if styled right (think black or nude chiffon skirts or high waisted denim Levis), and the neon platform heels at a bargain £12 will make the perfect statement for an evening out. If neons aren’t your thing, I’m also very fond of the gorgeous nude, orange and leopard print platform heels, and the collection also includes some very pretty midi dresses, amazing tortoise shell sunglasses, intense statement jewellery and an adorable Rockabilly-esque cars print bodycon dress, and with the recession friendly prices taken into account, Primark’s Summer collection is not one to sleep on!

Today I wore a Ralph Lauren button-up which I got from the Cheshire Oaks outlet for £35, a grey jersey skirt from H&M pulled in with a pale pink skinny belt, black tights and leopard print slippers from Next for a Sunday trip to my grandma’s for roast dinner!
As you may know by now, I run a little company called The Pocket Co. Up until now, The Pocket Co has been all about t-shirts, however tomorrow marks the release of the first collection of sweatshirts. Each pocket is hand made to order, and the base products are Gildan Heavy Blend Sweats. If you’re interested, a very limited number of sweatshirts will be dropping at on the Bigcartel at 6pm (GMT) tomorrow (13.03.12)! You can also follow The Pocket Co on Tumblr and like us on Facebook.
Check out how I’ve styled the Luxe Leopard Pocket Sweatshirt below: leggings (Primark), beanie (Carhartt), boots (Timberland).
Today I wore double Primark, oops! I finished the outfit off with my usual Topshop leather biker jacket, some new lace trim socks (also Topshop) and my black creepers. I can’t get enough of mixing leopard print with bright block colours, this time I tried it out with a bright pink, silky textured t-shirt and I love the effect.
I couldn’t resist this rottweiler print t-shirt by Worn By in Urban Outfitters after lusting over the various rottweiler inspired Givenchy pieces for so long. Despite its £28 price tag (or rather £25.20 with student discount), for me it was worth every penny!
The shiny ‘scarf print’ bomber jacket is also a recent addition to my ever expanding wardrobe, which I got here from an Ebay store – it also comes in green and gold colourways and at £19.99 it’s the perfect way to own this trend afforably.
Today my nails are painted with Models Own ‘Gold Rush’ and I added the leopard print detail with a Models Own x WAH Nails black nail art pen, two products which I really love. These nails look great with the outfit in my post below!
My navy Disco Pants came in the post today! Couldn’t resist grabbing a pair while American Apparel had a 30% off flash sale on all trousers, and now I’m one step closer to owning every pair. The super girly, super tacky purple ones are next on my list.
Here I’ve paired them with one of my pocket t-shirts, ‘Luxe Leopard’, which I make and sell @ The Pocket Co. I’ll be restocking the sold out t-shirts soon, but for updates and information about restocks and new items you can follow The Pocket Co. Tumblr and like the Facebook page!
I love pairing the colour red with leopard print – I bought this reworked vintage velvet cropped longsleeve from Blue Rinse recently, Blue Rinse is definitely one of my favourite stores for vintage and reworked vintage clothing. I loved this top so much that I had to have it in royal blue too!
