First things first, on account of the fact that my school prom was a whole five years ago, this was not my actual prom dress. However, with prom season in full force I thought I’d show you how I’d pick a prom dress that I could wear again, and how I’d wear that dress again.
I chose a short dress on the basis that they are easier to wear in an everyday fashion; this pale pink and white lace number from H&M’s prom collection is a classic shape with which you can’t really go wrong. For a prom I think it would look very sweet with some heels in silver or a similar pale pink, but for everyday I chose to wear it with a sleeveless faux leather jacket for a bit of ~edge~ and those cool lace up chunky sandals you saw in this post.
