Here is a nice example of how a plain, sort of sheer black midi dress need not be at all boring, even without much accessorising. There’s something I really like about the combination of a deep, plunging v-neck and a skinny scarf, neck tie or choker necklace, and this sort of witchy and sort of sophisticated looking dress already had one built in! I bought it in the Reformation sale before Christmas (along with this bodysuit, and later this dress – I think I have a problem) and it makes me feel very elegant and grown up. How great are these photos shot in Kew Gardens by Sarah, by the way?
Now: LOOK at my new Stella McCartney bag!!!! This is the single most expensive thing I think I’ve ever owned (save for electrical goods), but if you’re going to splurge you may as well do it on a killer designer bag (and especially a vegan friendly one that isn’t made from real leather). I’ve used it almost every day since I got it, as it’s just the right size to fit my daily essentials into, even including a bottle of water and umbrella.
Luisaviaroma have kindly provided me with a £200 gift card to give away to help towards your own lil piece of luxury (or anything else from the extensive range of high street and high end brands on their site that you desire). Simply enter by filling out the form below. Good luck!
