Cardigan – Glamorous* | Vest – Miss Rebel* | Trousers – Missguided*

So I haven’t quite plucked up the courage to buy flared jeans (yet), but these Missguided trousers will do for now. They’re a super flattering palazzo style, but kick out a bit at the knee which is exactly what I like. I’ve wanted them ever since seeing them on Charissa months ago, and although this is the first time they’ve appeared on my blog I’ve worn them multiple times since they landed on my doorstep. Here I wore them with a super causal Nirvana vest (yes I do like Nirvana, not posing I swear!), a few layering necklaces from The Kitsch Witch, and of course this fabulous cardigan from Glamorous. Glamorous’ whole AW14 range is really great, I was spoilt for choice when browsing the ‘new in’ pages! This was definitely a decision well made though; it’s a great statement piece which I think I’ll be able to wear with plenty of different outfits, plus it’s super warm and cosy too. Yay!

Bloggers Style the High Street with Primark – Look #2

Look familiar? This is look number two from my shoot with Primark for Company Magazine’s Blogger’s Style the High Street feature (see look #1 here). This was the look that was selected to feature in the magazine itself, and whilst it’s a little more ~out there~ than my usual style with the big colour clashes, I can see why this was chosen because the photos look great! I am particularly fond of the texture combination in this look, and of course the OTT teal faux fur and matching wide brim fedora! Check out this look on my Primania profile here.

A few weeks ago I was invited to BooHoo’s Manchester HQ for a photoshoot with blogger babes Victoria/inthefrow and Charlotte/lurchhoundloves, We were asked to pick out one outfit each from BooHoo’s three main trends for AW14: ‘Brooklyn Princess‘; ‘In The City‘; and ‘Locker Room‘. We all had a blast, and I love how each of our styles is different yet because we were sticking within the trends our looks all compliment each other. And of course, the clothes! I’m struggling to decide which is my favourite trend – originally I was all about the Brooklyn Princess trend because I’m like a magpie with all the shine and sequins and of course the gorgeous baby pinks, but now I think I’m loving ‘In The City’ becuase just look at the two piece I’m wearing, and Charlotte’s trousers!

Outfit Of The Day | French Connection AW14

Autumn/Winter? It’s 26 degrees! Nevertheless, it’s definitely time to start thinking about Autumn/Winter wardrobe, and as I generally prefer winter dressing I’m very excited to be wearing this look from the French Connection Pre-Fall 2014 collection, and blogging it on the day of the launch of their stunning AW14 collection. I had a tough time choosing which pieces to wear from such a strong collection, but I went for this gorgeous blue grey trench coat and super cute ribbed knitted dress. Both of these pieces are going to be great for awkward trans-seasonal dressing; the dress is knitted but also quite short so will be great for late summer and early autumn evenings, and the very luxe looking trench will be amazing over pretty much anything. If you’re a follower of Millie Mackintosh of Made In Chelsea fame you might have already seen these two items paired together and styled with some gorgeous French Connection shoes on her style diary, great minds huh!

I also really love these faux snakeskin Missguided boots, they’re a great silhouette and again look great with summery boho outfits now, and will work with jeans and knits when it gets colder.
