Another very casual outfit for you, in the same vein as the last one I posted featuring these fab 7 For All Mankind jeans. This time I paired them with a basic white roll neck, trusty leather biker, and what I guess are ‘statement boots’ from Fashion Pills – the boots are currently on sale for £28, how great?! Outfit Of The Day | Introducing… the Jessie, White Western Boots

When you can’t decide which neutral colour to wear, wear them all together! I think that a brown or beige or camel, or whatever you’d like to call the colour of my hat and skirt, is a nice way to soften an otherwise monochrome outfit. My skirt here is actually a dress, which I bought a number of years ago at one of those small-town-cheapy-shops when skater dresses were all the rage. I quite like the effect it gives here though! My camel fedora is from Primark and is only £7 but definitely one of the nicest fitting hats of a similar kind that I’ve tried – I will definitely have my eye out for other colours now. I’m also a fan of this subtly embellished ribbed vest, from Tesco’s clothing range F&F – you can check out my look and lots more F&F outfits on their ‘How You’re Wearing It‘ page.

Now, the main event of this outfit has to be these incredible boots. White is a change from the usual little black boot for me, and as much as I was drawn to the black version of the Jessie I’m glad I went for these. They have a heel which is a tiny bit higher than I usually like for the daytime but are actually very comfy, and I just love the western buckles and detailing! Bloggers Style the High Street with Primark – Look #2

Look familiar? This is look number two from my shoot with Primark for Company Magazine’s Blogger’s Style the High Street feature (see look #1 here). This was the look that was selected to feature in the magazine itself, and whilst it’s a little more ~out there~ than my usual style with the big colour clashes, I can see why this was chosen because the photos look great! I am particularly fond of the texture combination in this look, and of course the OTT teal faux fur and matching wide brim fedora! Check out this look on my Primania profile here.

Outfit Of The Day | Lace Trim & Leather

I think today’s outfit post is quite in-keeping with my last outfit post; a sort of festival chic for those of us who aren’t cool enough to pull off a 60s hippy meets Vanessa Hudgens style super boho look. I think something like this is really wearable, but the crochet lace detailing and wide sleeves of the top give just the right amount of that vibe. The top is from Yayer and is currently sold out, but they have loads of really cool alternatives. My skirt is an oldie – I bought it in the H&M kid’s section (yes, really!) for less than £10 3 or 4 years ago. If you’re a smaller size (I’d say about UK 10 or smaller), shopping kid’s sections can produce some real bargains! I love the patchwork effect of the different faux leather textures.

I finished off the outfit with my trusty hat and Topshop boots, and some opaque tights as the weather was chillier when I photographed these (although it’s an outfit I’ve repeated variations of a few times since!). What do you think?

Outfit Of The Day | Lace Print

Dress – OMG Fashion* | Hat – Missguided* | Boots – Topshop

You might remember that I was lucky enough to see Miley Cyrus courtesy of BooHoo a couple of weeks ago – here is the outfit I wore! ‘What should I wear to a gig?’ is a question I am frequently asked on Tumblr, but my answer is always the same – it totally depends! Because we were seated for Miley, and it was at the huge Phones 4U Arena rather than one of the sweaty little pubs and clubs that most shows I go to are at, I took the opportunity to dress up a little. Speaking of gigs, I’m very excited to announce that I will be in the VIP Box with BooHoo for One Direction in Manchester on Saturday! I will be live tweeting and Instagramming throughout so be sure to follow me!

Anyway… this dress, which has a real For Love And Lemons vibe to it (check out that brand here or on ASOS here, if you’re not familiar), is from OMG Fashion – I love the faux lace effect of the print on the top half! Worn with my Missguided fedora, chunky Topshop boots and a dark lip (Limecrime’s ‘Wicked’ Velvetine) I think this outfit has a real ‘cute witch’ feel to it. ‘Cute witch’ is actually my boyfriend’s choice of phrase, but I will definitely take that as a compliment!

ASOS Wishlist

It’s that time again – ASOS have 25% off for students! I always get quite overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff there is on ASOS, so I have thrown together a little wishlist to inspire you if you want to take advantage of the discount but don’t know where to start.

Vagabond Erie Sliders – ‘sliders’ were my first port of call when I started to browse ASOS this morning – it hasn’t been warm enough for me to bare my toes just yet, but I’ll definitely be picking up a pair of the super on trend sandals before summer comes. This pair by Vagabond are my favourites so far, they are quite steep at £55, but maybe now is the time to snap them up at a much more reasonable £41.25?
New Look Flux Cleated Sole Sandals – more sandals; this pair from New Look are fab and are only £19.99 to begin with. I don’ think these quite fall into the ‘sliders’ category but they’re a great, versatile sandal which would go with almost any outfit.
ASOS Strappy Crop Top With Wrap Front – cute little top to throw on under an overshirt or wear by itself for a summer evening out.
New Look Gingham Shirt – gingham is everywhere at the moment, but most of my gingham prints are on mega girly silhouettes, for example floaty dresses and skirts. I’m going to buy this shirt to mix it up a bit!
Vans Sk8 Hi – my black and white Vans Sk8 His are probably my most worn shoes, so I’m extremely tempted to pick up this all white pair for the summer months!
ASOS Rescue Me Ankle Boots – how amazing are these?! I struggle to wean myself off ankle boots when the weather warms up, so a pastel pair with cut out detailing would be the perfect solution – swap your black ankle boots out for these for an instant summer outfit update.
ASOS Western Tip Waist Belt – there’s no particular reason for including this belt here, other than I could do with a new one and I like the larger silver buckle and ‘Western’ style detailing of this one.
theBalm Luminizer – don’t forget that ASOS stocks a massive range of beauty brands too; I’ve heard great things about this highlighter and really want to try it out.
ASOS High Shine Rain Mac – with festival season approaching I’ve seen many wistful wishlists of tiny denim shorts and crochet vests, but realistically it’s probably better to invest in an adorable waterproof like this one.
ASOS Fluffy Cocoon Coat – is it too close to summer to be buying coats? Nahh, not if they look like this one anyway!
ASOS Felt Fedora – a fedora finishes off any outfit perfectly, and I love that this one comes in lilac!

I could go on and on; I also love this duster coat, this satin slip dress, these crepe cigarette trousers, this heart print midi skirt, and this crochet fringed kimono. Happy shopping!

Are you bored of my tartan clothes yet? The print of this amazing dress from Ark is a little different to my other checked and tartan prints, but it might just be my favourite! It’s very similar to the Céline print on those amazing slip-ons which is a definite bonus, plus I love the simplicity of a tunic dress. It’s also very reasonably priced at £26.99, and it is worth noting that I’m wearing size M/L. Here I paired it with a faux leather sleeved coat I got on eBay last year (similar here), my fab Missguided hat and trusty New Look cut out boots.

Missguided Blogger Edit – my outfit

Everything! – Missguided*

As promised in my post yesterday, here is the full outfit kindly given to me by Missguided! Missguided are looking for your vote in the Fabulous High Street Awards as the best ‘One Stop Shop’, and as you can hopefully see from this outfit, they definitely deserve it! Everything from my hat to my shoes is Missguided, and I was really spoilt for choice when trying to decide what to choose for this feature. I went for the Reaha Kimono (currently £16.99), Vavery Dress in white (£34.99), Kayna Hat (£14.99), Micah Bag (£29.99) and Bettie Jelly Sandals in black (£21.99). The kimono is fab for the current transitional weather as the dark floral print is very autumnal but it’s also a nice light alternative to a coat, there’s nothing I don’t love about the dress, and all of the accessories are very versatile! Not to mention that this entire outfit, including the bag and hat, is under £120 – a price you’d struggle to match in some other high street shops.
