My latest colour obsession is pink pink PINK! It was everywhere at the AW13 fashion shows; one which stood out for me was Topshop Unique, pictured above. Unique mixed all sorts of shades and textures of pink to create mouthwateringly sweet looks, and now the pink trend is slowly creeping into the highstreet ready for the new season. I’ve selected a few of my favourite pieces from Topshop and Primark below:
1 – ‘Princess Coat’ – Primark – £25
2 – Pale pink boyfriend coat – Primark – £32
3 – Feathered crop jumper – Primark – £10
5 – ‘Gwenda’ pointed courts – Topshop – £58
6 – Pale pink vinyl pencil skirt – Topshop – £38
7 – Edge paint satchel – Topshop – £28
Dress – Fashion Culprit* | Tights – Fast At Jonathan Aston @ Tights Please* | Shoes – Oasap* | Jewellery – H&M
I’ve always been told that I can’t wear too much white or other light colours because my skin is very pale, however I totally disagree! I’m in love with the super soft look which can be created with pale pinks and whites, and it looks great on both the palest and the darkest of skin tones.
I’m wearing a really fun skater dress with a heart shape cut out of the back, which is only £15 from Fashion Culprit, with super cute ‘blush’ coloured tights by Fast At Jonathan Aston from Tights Please, similar coloured shoes with pretty flower detailing from Oasap and some slight less dainty rose gold jewellery from H&M to set everything off.
