I’m really liking drop hem dresses and fluted skirts at the moment, and I just had to have this one from SheInside -I love the very simplistic square checked print and as usual, it’s great value at £19.21! It is super short (be warned tall ladies, I’m 5’6″ and wearing a medium and it is JUST long enough to be decent), so is definitely one to be worn with thick opaque tights. I wasn’t completely sold on the ruffle details on the sleeves at first, but I think I have definitely come round to them; they soften the whole thing up and echo the shape of the fluted hem which is really cute. If you’re not feeling them though, they would be easy to simply cut off the dress because they’re attached inside the sleeve and the seam is totally hidden. I finished off my outfit with my standard Topshop Adonis ankle boots, ASOS ‘Coatigan’ and a white satchel from Primark.
I’m currently obsessing over this pink coat – I managed to bag it on eBay for a ridiculous £2! I still fully intend to purchase the Primark pink coats I posted about but I love the candy shade of this one too, and I’m definitely of the opinion that you can’t have too many pink coats at the moment. Here I wore it over this adorable monochrome check dress from Mart Of China, which is a total bargain at £8. Unfortunately it only comes in one size and is very short, but exact measurements are listed. As well as the dress, I’m wearing another piece from Mart Of China in this sickeningly cute handbag, another crazy bargain at £10.84! I think that wearing a bit of pink with your monochrome is a great way to update it for this season.
