Layering, jumpers thick tights and sheepskin lined boots are key for keeping warm in the winter. This sequined jumper from a few years ago is a perfect Christmas alternative for those who can’t quite bring themselves to don the traditional ‘ugly’ festive sweater. This specific Topshop jumper isn’t available to buy any more, but they stock some great alternatives like this.
I paired the jumper with a thick burgundy skirt from Ark, button-up denim shirt which you can buy from any high street, vintage or charity shop, and Topshop’s Marcy Lace-up Fur Boots which I would definitely recommend.
Here’s how I styled the second piece from my package from fastfashion.co.uk, the Reverse Triangle Back Kimono in mustard. It looks great with an all black outfit but here I wore mine with my matching mustard brogues from ASOS, a black shirt and a blue velvet skirt to provide a totally contrasting accent colour to my outfit. I love the bold block colour of the cape, the stud details make it just the right amount of edgy and it’s such a versatile piece that it can be worn during a summer’s day with denim shorts and a white loose vest or on a winter’s evening over a black mini dress with glitter tights and killer heels! Head over to FastFashion.co.uk to pick up yours and browse the rest of the collections now.
This weekend I received some lovely items courtesy of Fast Fashion! Above you can see the amazing America Shirt by Reverse, which is a great statement piece for any occasion. The bold print, cute detail on the buttons and unique asymmetric silhouette make it a piece which you should definitely have in your wardrobes – buy it HERE.
Here I paired the shirt with my studded knee leggings from Romwe. Keep checking back for posts featuring the other two items in my exciting Reverse / Fast Fashion Delivery, and in the mean time check out the Fast Fashion website, Tumblr and Facebook page!
I’m making these pocket t-shirts, along with camo pocket t-shirts like this to sell for some extra money for Christmas presents! Please email me on hlfarrington@hotmail.co.uk, or contact me via Tumblr if you are interested. I can do either print on any colour and any size t-shirt, and will be selling them at £10 plus postage. Thanks!
Here I’ve styled mine with an otherwise all black look to make the pocket stand out, if only I had some pink Litas to match! Pocket t-shirts look great over a pair of leggings or skinny jeans too. Check out this close-up of the print below.
I just got back from the hair dressers and I’ve had my hair dyed ginger! Well, it’s more of a copper / auburn but I’m really happy with it. I also got these new leggings and the weekend and I love them. They’re definitely a statement piece which I’ll probably wear mostly with an otherwise all black outfit.
I finally gave in and got a pair of creepers! Technically they’re a Christmas present from my boyfriend, so they’re going to be hidden away at his house until Christmas time. I got this neon pencil skirt from ASOS while they had 25% off for NUS card holders, I love it. It’s so bright that I feel I can only wear it with black, white, grey and nude, but until now I was definitely missing this shade in my wardrobe. Apologies for the lack of ‘personal style’ blogging, I’ve been ill in my PJs and then busy after I recovered this week.
I’m going out tomorrow night, and I’m going to wear this! I picked up this dress for just £6 at a discount store called Steals today, the make is ‘Graffic’. I also picked up these gorgeous Pamela Love x Topshop earrings for only £1.50! Seeing as the RRP is £50 I’m very happy with that purchase. I also recently bought a replica YSL ring from ebay for just £1.87, it’s not quite as beautiful as the real thing but it’s close enough for me and my student budget. Today I realised that practically every dress I own is black or nude, I need to change this!
I recently bought some cross charms from ebay and decided to cut up a plain, dark grey t-shirt and attach some. I might add more, but for now I think they look cute in this little panel. I have 250 charms, so I think I might add some to some shirt collars too. I’m wearing my new shoes too, check out the post below this one for more pictures and info!
I’ll be going out for a friend’s 21st tomorrow night, and I’m going to wear this! I still love this £3.99 striped dress which I got from H&M over a year ago, such a great buy.
