This week I received this super cute polka dot dress from AX Paris and decided that it was the perfect opportunity to use the iron on swallow patches I bought recently from eBay. At £2.19 for the pair the patches are an absolute bargain and are easy, quick and completely mess free to apply to any dress, t-shirt or even a bag.
I wore a baby pink belt around my waist to add a little pop of colour to my outfit, and wore Underground creepers on my feet. This outfit is quite rockabilly-esque, what do you think?
Continuing with the theme of great shoe collaborations, allow me to present the new Lazy Oaf x Underground ‘Minnie’ Creeper! The single-sole creeper combines all the usual quality features of an Underground shoe with a cute and quirky Lazy Oaf-esque red and white polka dot print suede front panel and bright yellow laces. The collaboration was initially only available at the Underground x Candy Pop Up Shop at La Foret, Tokyo, but due to popular demand will be hitting the Lazy Oaf online store soon. Unfortunately for some, the collaboration is only available in UK sizes 4-7, but on the bright side will be no more expensive than other Underground creepers at £85. For your chance to own this super limited piece, keep your eye on the Lazy Oaf online store or email alex@lazyoaf.com to be notified when the Minnie Creeper is in stock.
I picked up these metallic trousers for a bargain £16 in the ASOS sale. I’m still not completely won over, they look great with long black shirts and black wedges but I don’t like how they look with flats and so they aren’t ideal for the day time for me.
Trousers: ASOS, £16
Shirt: Primark, £10
Wedges: Topshop, £80
Over the past few days I’ve had a huge shop, scouring what’s left of the January sales in some shops and new arrivals for spring in others for bargains and to spend my Topshop vouchers left over from Christmas. Here’s what I bought:
I’m really impressed with the Primark Spring 2012 range (click here to see it in full on the Look magazine website) and today I picked up this black and white polka dot sheer blouse for just £10. Apart from a few pretty dresses, cute accessories and this striking ‘burnt orange’ blazer, the blouses are the strongest pieces in the collection in my opinion. I’ve also got my eye on this floral blouse with black sleeves and this white blouse with pink accents.
I wasn’t overwhelmed by the Topshop sale this winter, however I did pick up this cute knitted jumper for £15 which will look great over any button-up blouse, especially on a cold but sunny spring day.
