I ordered these leggings from Topshop last week, after waiting forever for them to come online after seeing them in the lookbook! I absolutely had to have them. Here I’ve paired them with a blue velvet top because I love the colour clash of royal blue and gold/yellow, but they’ll also look great with a black velvet or sheer button-up shirt or a whole array of printed t-shirts.

Today my nails are painted with Models Own ‘Gold Rush’ and I added the leopard print detail with a Models Own x WAH Nails black nail art pen, two products which I really love. These nails look great with the outfit in my post below!
My navy Disco Pants came in the post today! Couldn’t resist grabbing a pair while American Apparel had a 30% off flash sale on all trousers, and now I’m one step closer to owning every pair. The super girly, super tacky purple ones are next on my list.
Here I’ve paired them with one of my pocket t-shirts, ‘Luxe Leopard’, which I make and sell @ The Pocket Co. I’ll be restocking the sold out t-shirts soon, but for updates and information about restocks and new items you can follow The Pocket Co. Tumblr and like the Facebook page!
River Island is a store which rarely crosses my mind when I’m asked to list my favourite places to shop because normally, with the exception of a few pieces, their collections aren’t to my taste. However, I’m really impressed by the River Island SS12 collection as a whole! I’m head over heels in love with the black and white studded pencil skirts and matching bralets, it’s inevitable that one of those pieces will work its way into my wardrobe this summer. I also love a couple of the dresses, the use of white crochet and lace fabrics, the bold prints and use of metallics. Check out some of my favourite outfits and pieces below, and view the collection in full here.
Today I wore my multi-glitter Topshop skater dress, but with a checked shirt over the top tied at the waist, black tights and black creepers, but I wanted to show off how pretty it is without lots of extras! It looks great with heels for the evening or layered up with flats for daytime. I’m also wearing a new Topshop lipstick which I received free with an order and I’m really impressed with it! The shade is ‘All About Me’ and it’s a matte finish bright pink colour, I really like it.
I picked up these metallic trousers for a bargain £16 in the ASOS sale. I’m still not completely won over, they look great with long black shirts and black wedges but I don’t like how they look with flats and so they aren’t ideal for the day time for me.
Trousers: ASOS, £16
Shirt: Primark, £10
Wedges: Topshop, £80
Today my new tartan skater dress arrived which I ordered from Ebay last week, I love it! There are similar things available everywhere, I chose this one because firstly McQueen is out of my budget and secondly I prefer the tartan pattern with a yellow stripe running through it too rather than the more simple red and black designs you can buy. At £14.99 plus postage this was the cheapest I could find online, you can get it here.
For the day time I will dress this down with black tights and creepers or black ankle boots as well as a hoodie underneath my leather biker and a thick woolly scarf whilst it’s still cold!
I love pairing the colour red with leopard print – I bought this reworked vintage velvet cropped longsleeve from Blue Rinse recently, Blue Rinse is definitely one of my favourite stores for vintage and reworked vintage clothing. I loved this top so much that I had to have it in royal blue too!
England is getting colder again and even threatening snow, but these ‘Multi Graphic Tassle Shorts’ by Reverse at FastFashion.co.uk are making me long for summer again! The bright, bold print makes them a perfect summer statement piece and so here I’ve paired them with a white cropped t-shirt and simple black jelly sandals from Topshop to allow the shorts to be the centrepiece of my outfit. This outfit would really show off a great tan! Get your shorts over at Fast Fashion here for £28.
