I just can’t get over how perfect this skirt is! The ‘Aralynn’ skirt from Coast is the most gorgeous shape; the heavy fabric feels really luxurious and the pleats and slightly asymmetric hem give it a stunning silhouette. It seems mandatory for everyone to own a full midi skirt at the moment, and this is definitely the perfect formal take on the trend. Plus, it’s pink, so is definitely a win-win piece. I wish I had a wedding or super fancy garden party to wear it to this summer! Take a look at the rest of Coast’s SS14 collection online now.
Here I’ve paired the skirt with black – these ankle strap pointed heels from Primark go with almost anything, and I love my new satin wrap blouse from Glamorous.
Glamorous have challenged us bloggers to create a wishlist of Glamorous products worth £200. As the queen of spending too much money and wanting new clothes all the time, this is perfect for me! I’ve created 2 outfits with the £200 budget, one daytime look and one for a party! I think that the leather jacket is a key piece and is interchangeable between the outfits, and the embellished jumper is gorgeous. What would you buy with £200 at Glamorous?
Yesterday I arrived home to these beautiful shorts courtesy of Lavish Alice, and gorgeous stockings which were a gift from Tights Please! I decided to combine the elegant Charnos Marilyn Stockings with the statement shorts, as well as a loud, neon jumper (from Glamorous) and simple studded flats from Topshop to create an outfit of mixed textures which would be perfect for a casual evening out when the weather isn’t so warm. My shorts and jumper are both quite obnoxious pieces (in the best way possible, in my opinion!) so I kept accessories to a minim with dip dye earrings from Primark.
Tonight I’m going out for a friend’s birthday and intend on wearing this gorgeous ‘Paisley Print Pink Dress’ I received courtesy of Glamorous! The bold print of the dress definitely makes it a real eye catcher and a statement piece which only needs a handful of simple accessories to complete the look – for a dressed up night-time look I’m wearing chunky black suede wedges, a gold collar necklace and gold and cream spiked ring, all from Topshop, but the dress could just as easily be dressed down with an oversized denim jacket and creepers, trainers or dolly shoes. The dress is only £24.99
I’m struggling for a bag to go with my outfit for tonight, but I plan on picking up this clutch (pictured below) from Select if they have it in stock in their Manchester store! It’s only £8 and the black and gold will tie together my black shoes and gold jewellery perfectly.
