Another very casual outfit for you, in the same vein as the last one I posted featuring these fab 7 For All Mankind jeans. This time I paired them with a basic white roll neck, trusty leather biker, and what I guess are ‘statement boots’ from Fashion Pills – the boots are currently on sale for £28, how great?! Green Polka Dot Dress

Sometimes I forget how much I enjoy the simple but ever so effective combination of a pretty dress and a tougher leather biker jacket. I like the vintage feel of this particular dress from Sugarhill Boutique, and the fact that it is green is a bonus as I really don’t think green is a colour I wear enough! The dress I’ve linked above is actually mint green rather than the version I have here, sadly mine isn’t available any more but the mint is equally as cute.

Outfit Of The Day | Sporty Co-ord

Hi all! The weather is just ridiculous today, and what better outfit for sunshine than a cute little co-ord. This monochrome two piece from Ark is really simple and has a sporty vibe which I like, especially when paired with trainers. When I wore this outfit it wasn’t quite as scorchingly hot as it is today so I threw on this Primark baby blue faux leather jacket, which I absolutely love. It’s only £25 and the quality is really above average! What do you think?

Outfit Of The Day | Primark Pink Midi Skirt

I was about to say that I’m wearing that Primark skirt, but it seems like they have 3 or 4 that skirts in at the moment, I’m obsessed! This one from Primark SS14 is particularly great, it’s a heavy fabric so is a great transitional piece, and is an irresistible shade of bubblegum pink. Here I paired it with black, I think that’s a really easy way to wear spring colours in the colder weather, and I’m not sure about anyone else but I definitely have more black in my wardrobe for layering. I’m wearing a Headroom shirt – I don’t post about music much but if you’re a fan of bands like Knapsack, Title Fight and Basement you should check them out and catch them on tour in the UK with Citizen this summer! Plus, this shirt is great.

Tartan Dress

One more checked piece to add to my winter collection! Like my tartan trousers, this print is quite subtle and a nice alternative to the more common in-your-face red and black print, something which I much prefer. The dress is also a cute silhouette with capped sleeves and a slightly flared skirt, and is a bargain at £11.49. Here I belted it, wore it with adorable school-girly cut-out shoes from Primark, and my trusty leather biker jacket.

Mesh Panels

Last night I ventured out for the last Law School social of the year (I have finished my exams, woo!). I’m not much of a clubber, but I do love the dressing up part. I’m obsessed with this dress from MissGuided, inspired by Alexander Wang’s SS13 catwalk looks, including the top and skirt combination worn by Rihanna (below), but obviously without the hefty price tag – the skirt below would set you back a huge £1673! The ‘Robena‘ dress is now sold out, however keep your eye out for restocks or check out the similar Sereny and Daiva dresses, or the Danasha playsuit.

I initially wore my dress with these strappy heels which were a bargain £12 from Primark, however ended up changing to my comfortable JC Tardys before I reached the club as these were so uncomfortable and were tearing my feet to shreds! Sadly I think I’m going to have to retire them (and the other 2 colours I own…) for events which involve much less dancing and invest in a pair with a chunkier and smaller heel.
