Yet another sheer paneling piece: this time it’s a white cropped vest from Select, which is a total steal at £6! The black version is even more of a bargain on sale for £4. White and black crop tops are an essential part of my wardrobe, and the sheer panel in this one gives it a little bit of an edge which I love. Here I’m wearing it with my Zara style black skort from Romwe, an old oversized and asymmetric sheer black shirt by Sparkle & Fade from Urban Outfitters (a great alternative cover-up to the very ‘in’ sheer kimono) and black and white Nike Roshe Runs. I’m carrying a new bag from Primark, the colour of which I love and at £12 it’s great value for such a large bag – it is easily big enough to be an overnight or weekend bag.
Not much to say about this super casual outfit – all black is always a safe bet! I’m wearing my new croc effect leather trousers from MissGuided with an old Rottweiler print t-shirt (Givenchy but not quite) from Urban Outfitters and a pair of Air Max 1s with a similar colourway to my t-shirt.
I’ve been after a pair of leather trousers for a while, and this pair from MissGuided are great! They’re faux leather, and I didn’t find them to be too sweaty to wear. They are very tight and don’t have much stretch in them, so I would recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes, but other than that are a great alternative to jeans or leggings for day or evening!
Blue is a colour which I never used to be drawn to, but clearly that has changed! This outfit, which I wore at the weekend, is entirely blue – I love this shirt from Primark (another great Primark piece which doesn’t look like it’s from Primark!), slightly cropped and tailored dark navy trousers from JW Anderson’s first collection for Topshop (which I got in the sale for £20), my super cosy vintage jumper from Retrograde* and of course my super cute Liberty print Free Run 2s, which were a birthday present from my boyfriend last year. You might remember I worked with Retrograde a while ago as a model, but the brand is still going strong and acquiring more and more great men’s and women’s vintage stock (including more cosy knitwear like this jumper) at totally reasonable prices, and with free UK delivery which is always a selling point for me – Topshop online would have a lot more of my money if they didn’t charge £4!
