Blue is a colour which I never used to be drawn to, but clearly that has changed! This outfit, which I wore at the weekend, is entirely blue – I love this shirt from Primark (another great Primark piece which doesn’t look like it’s from Primark!), slightly cropped and tailored dark navy trousers from JW Anderson’s first collection for Topshop (which I got in the sale for £20), my super cosy vintage jumper from Retrograde* and of course my super cute Liberty print Free Run 2s, which were a birthday present from my boyfriend last year. You might remember I worked with Retrograde a while ago as a model, but the brand is still going strong and acquiring more and more great men’s and women’s vintage stock (including more cosy knitwear like this jumper) at totally reasonable prices, and with free UK delivery which is always a selling point for me – Topshop online would have a lot more of my money if they didn’t charge £4!

Hello everyone, hope you all had a fabulous Christmas! I’ve been wearing this amazing fluffy jumper from Mina UK to death since I received it, it’s definitely one of the most comfortable things I own and I love the print too. The other day I paired it with my trusty faux leather pleated skirt from Primark and new favourite chunky Topshop ankle boots, but it also looks great with black skinny jeans or tucked into Levis shorts. I also wore some super cute studded socks which I got in Primark, and of course when I went out I threw on some thick tights too.

What do you think? Would you have guessed that almost my entire outfit is Primark?
As the above photo of some of my winter hat collection might suggest, I’m very partial to a woolly hat! I probably have more bobble hats and beanies than anyone needs, but they’re a winter essential for me.
Knitted Floppy Hats
A big knitted hat, with or without a bobble, is super cute for cold weather. My current favourites are pictured above: the red hat with a fur bobble from Topshop last year; a navy blue super floppy bobble hat brand new from Primark (£3!) and a gorgeous cream beanie with gold specks which I bought recently at Forever 21.
Handmade!
Brands & Bands
Less cute and often more expensive than a handmade hat, but undoubtedly stylish are beanies by your favourite brand or band. The three pictured above are by ‘streetwear’ brands Obey, Stussy and Carhartt respectively and aren’t current season, but you can pick up new variations of the Carhartt Watch Hat at any retailer (Size?, Urban Industry) and both Obey and Stussy are still producing quality headwear!
Happy winter shopping x
Last night I went home to go out for tea for my dad’s birthday! It was lovely seeing my family, and I wore this gorgeous Lovestruck dip-side dress. It was a smart/casual sort of place, so I wore the dress with black tights and creepers and my new Primark boyfriend coat, but it could easily be dressed up with a pair of heels. I also used this amazing Primark clutch which is practically identical to a Topshop one but £6 instead of £38.
I’ve been spending my life away in Primark at the moment, would anyone be interested in a little ‘haul’ post?
Coat – Darling* | Jumper – Primark | Jeans – Cheap Monday @ Urban Outfitters | Bag – Linea Weekend @ House of Fraser* | Boots – Topshop
Cold weather calls for knitwear and coats, and the ‘Hermoine Jacket‘ in burgundy from Darling is the perfect start to my winter collection of outerwear! I love the unique shape and collar, and the rich autumnal colour of the coat. Underneath I am wearing a new jumper which was just £12 from Primark and Cheap Monday Second Skin high waisted jeans which I got from Urban Outfitters while they had 20% off for students. The jeans are a really great (and cheaper – I paid £40 for this pair but RRP is £50) alternative to American Apparel’s Easy Jean (£64). I’m also wearing my cute Topshop boots which I bought last winter and gorgeous new brown leather Linea Weekend Tote which you can pick up on sale at House of Fraser now, and check out more handbags available at House of Fraser too.
