Happy May everyone! It’s dreaded exam month, but at the same time we’re now just that little bit closer to summer, so swings and roundabouts I guess. My apologies if you had the brightness on your screen on full / weren’t wearing sunglasses when you opened this post; I’m not really one to shy away from colour but this outfit is insanely bright! I wouldn’t dare wear it if the sun wasn’t shining, but it’s perfect for a summer party and I love the almost obnoxious boldness of this colour combo. The violent shade of lemon yellow of this blazer makes it such a great statement piece, which you could tone down a little by wearing something classy and all white underneath – someone invite me to a garden party already! I think this colour would look especially great on darker skin tones, but of course I’m still going to wear it anyway! I’d definitely be snapping them up whilst there is still 25% student discount if I didn’t already have them as they go with every colourful summer outfit I can think of but can also be the main attraction of an outfit thanks to their bright metallic finish; I’m trying my best not to add the metallic green pair to my basket as we speak.
