Screw Blurred Lines and have some clean ones instead! I wore this outfit last week before the temperature dropped, but I can’t wait to wear this top from frontrowshop.com throughout autumn and winter as the pale pink shade is perfect. Here I paired it with my white Zara style skirt from SheInside, amazing new Primark coat, Zara bag and Missguided boots.
Yet another sheer paneling piece: this time it’s a white cropped vest from Select, which is a total steal at £6! The black version is even more of a bargain on sale for £4. White and black crop tops are an essential part of my wardrobe, and the sheer panel in this one gives it a little bit of an edge which I love. Here I’m wearing it with my Zara style black skort from Romwe, an old oversized and asymmetric sheer black shirt by Sparkle & Fade from Urban Outfitters (a great alternative cover-up to the very ‘in’ sheer kimono) and black and white Nike Roshe Runs. I’m carrying a new bag from Primark, the colour of which I love and at £12 it’s great value for such a large bag – it is easily big enough to be an overnight or weekend bag.
Another outfit from last week, featuring a new Choies blazer! As you may have gathered from some previous posts I’m a fan of orange at the moment, and this pale tangerine shade is perfect and summery. This particular colour is currently sold out, but you can keep your eye out for restocks or purchase it for a very reasonable £19.79 in one of the other five colours – I think white or pink would be my next choice! The blazer comes with shoulder pads, however I’ve removed mine for a more relaxed look. I wore it with a piece from the latest Rihanna x River Island collection – I’m not a Rihanna fan but I have been very much impressed by both of her River Island collaborations so far, save for a few more “interesting” pieces (those double jeans?!). I love this print and hope to acquire some more of it, but at £20 this dress (which is technically a top, but long enough to be a mini-dress for average height or petite ladies) was a no-brainer. I’m also wearing my favourite new MissGuided boots, Fashion Nonsense spiked necklace and a skull bangle from Chicnova. PS: how cute is the wallpaper in the hallway of my new flat?! Perhaps a post about it / mini tour is in order?
I’m back! After moving into my new flat I’ve had no internet, but I’m home for the weekend and I’ll have internet at the new place on Wednesday (after what seems like a lifetime). Hooray! I wore this outfit the other week – this is technically a nightdress which I picked up in the Topshop sale, but it’s super pretty and sufficiently modest so I didn’t want to ~save it for the bedroom, so to speak. I wore it with a Primark chiffon shirt and amazing new ‘Raven Block Heel Trainers’ from MissGuided – I’ve lived in these since I got them! They have a small heel but are really comfortable, and go with almost anything. The boots are very similar to Topshop’s popular Activist boots and look expensive with their faux suede upper, but are much cheaper than the Activists at £32.99.
I wasn’t amazed by the Topshop online sale, but there are always so many more treats in store! I was torn between a few items in the Manchester store sale, but settled on these silk joggers by Topshop Boutique. They were reduced to £40 from £70, so £36 with student discount and I had a £10 voucher, so at £26 they were a pretty good deal! They’re one of the comfiest items I own, and they fall beautifully and can be dressed up or down easily. The Topshop Boutique range is generally a little overpriced in my opinion, but it’s always my favourite section of Topshop and I’m a sucker for anything silk.
Here I’m wearing my new trousers with a batwing cropped chiffon blouse from SheInside, ASOS ID necklace, Zara mini shopper and Jeffrey Campbell Jett boots which I got on eBay.
