My recent desire to get a new skirt and the latest ASOS sale has resulted in two new skirts, this being one of them! It is the ‘midi skirt in ponte check‘, reduced to a very reasonable £17.50. It always irritates me that you can’t use student discount on ASOS sale items, but I’m still super happy with my purchase.
Yesterday I wore it with an off-white high neck, long sleeve crop top as the checks are also an off-white colour and my new Jeffrey Campbell Jett boots which I managed to pick up for £45 on eBay! I’ve wanted these boots or something similar for a while, so I’m pretty happy with these too. I finished off my outfit with my trusty Topshop leather biker and off-white faux fur stole from eBay and my Lime Crime ‘suedeberry’ Velvetine.
NaaNaa is a new, Manchester based, fashion label which I’m stoked to be supporting! They kindly sent me this pretty peach sequin t-shirt, which I’m wearing here with a pink American Apparel skirt. I’m on the lookout for a great pair of white trousers for summer at the moment, and I think this top will look great with them once I find them! I’d also pair it with leather shorts for a night out. You can check out NaaNaa on ASOS Marketplace or on their website. Happy shopping 🙂
Wearing all white everything is one of the biggest trends this season, and is a department that my wardrobe is seriously lacking in. I’ve picked out some of my favourite items of white clothing (all Topshop, first photo) and accessories (all ASOS, second photo), some of which I hope to add to my clothes rail soon! White pieces are great paired with eachother, but they can also be worn with any other colour you like, making them super versatile and hopefully good value pieces. Happy shopping 🙂
Despite my looming exams (first one is tomorrow, wish me luck!!) I’ve still found a million ways to distract myself, one of them of course being taking photos of everything I do for Instagram. Last week, Monday-Sunday consisted of:
Amazing ASOS rings | new Infrareds from my boyfriend | #ootd (Topshop skirt, American Apparel blouse, Primark coat, Romwe shoes) | cute Marc By Marc Jacobs bracelet I won on eBay | amazing £8 shoes from New Look | jewellery and perfume section of my shelves | #nails (Models Own Gold Rush and Soda Pop Pink) | a photo of me | delicious lunch | more amazing ASOS rings | Harry Potter mug which is around 10 years old | my wall full of revision notes | #ootd (Romwe jacket, Primark jumper, Sparkle & Fade blouse, Cheap Monday jeans, Jordan 4s, The Quiet Riot bag) | my Jordans | new Totem Styler from Enrapture* (blog post soon) | pretty dresses from MeeMee* (blog post here) and Motel* (blog post soon) | another Marc By Marc Jacobs braclet I won on eBay | hot chocolate with cream and chocolate orange sprinkles | the collar detail of my Sister Jane dress from MeeMee | Krispy Kreme doughnuts

Last week I modelled for a styling student, Lauren Woods, who wanted to create something based on the concept of ‘six impossible things’ from Alice In Wonderland (hence the weird and wonderful props) and inspired by SS13 fashion. I really enjoyed the shoot, and the photos turned out great! None of the outfits are my own or my styling, however I love most of them – especially the beautiful silver sequined dress, the pretty tea party outfit and the fab House Of Holland inspired dungareers, gittery bralet and beanie combo – so I want to share them anyway. Check out some of the images below, and hype a couple on Lookbook here and here.
